Columbia (Cumby) Hammock-Cobb is a 1976 graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a Bachelors degree in Furnishings and Interiors.

Cumby is a long-time member of IFDA (International Furnishings and Design Association) and has held several board positions over the years.
