Formal Dining

What’s your idea of Formal Dining?

Everyone has a different perspective, and need.  Sometimes the room, itself, dictates the look and
formality with how the designing is addressed.  And of course, the function and
your lifestyle should be considered as well.

This Dining area has informality about it, yet the furniture is a little more formal.
The chandelier, and wall sconces look more informal and even casual,
yet it’s a beautiful Dining Room. Agree?

And don’t you just love a round table, if it can work in the Dining Area design well?

My favorite piece in this room is the sideboard!  Yes, please.

This Dining Room is loaded with formality, from the elegant crystal chandelier
to the beautiful hand knotted rug.  And is very spacious….

A bright Dining Room that’s in the round, with a dichotomy of textures and finishes…
Just gorgeous, yet not overly formal!

And any Dining Room can be even larger with an awesome mirror like this!
It takes all of the formality into another level of elegant details with a banquet
style feel of formality.

Formality can take on different looks, with the architectural details,
furnishings, fabrics, and finishes…
Formality, here with soft fabrics and painted finishes,
can also add visual space with the simplicity of graceful additions as well.

Many homes with today’s lifestyles can sometimes be
filled with casual elegance too!

What are you looking for in your “formal Dining Area”?
Traditional or Contemporary?  Elegance or casual?
Dramatic or Light & Airy?

Designing with a simple thought of “making your house your home”…..
What’s your pleasure?
