A Stairway to Heaven

A Stairway to Heaven

Stairways and staircases can be mediocre, with their function, or they can be just fabulous and a major focal point!   I refer to my Pinterest board as “Stairway to Heaven” because most of the lovely thoughts of grand staircases are headed North.  With that popular song from Led Zepplin, back in the day,  we still have people chiming in with numerous interpretations that abound from this song and lyrics.    It just hit me….what a great name for this

Dull-drums…

Dull-drums…

Are you experiencing the dull-drums after Un-decorating your interiors from your fabulous Christmas decorations?  I am!   In the Christmas decorating, your interiors are full, finished and lovely, and then…..after, a little dull.  And it’s a transition to thinking your possibilities through….with a little more intensity.  And with the Winter months, and spending a lot more time inside, you have time to really notice.  Is this your situation too?   It’s looking “bare and unloved”.  And it can really affect

Mantle Mania

Mantle Mania

Sometimes it’s easier to address the major focal point in your interiors, head on and with authority and creativity when decorating for Christmas.           You can either add to what you already have on the mantle or clear it off and just start over to get the perfect Christmas decorations in place.               The “hanging of the greens” are traditional all around the house, but adding to the mantle
