I absolutely gravitate to patina finishes! The character piece is usually full of patina, in many different mediums, textures, elements, and uniqueness! I love this “aged ambience”….. whether it’s a natural patina or enhanced. Maybe that’s why I like to cruise through antique stores, consignment shops, and interiors markets…… to find those specialty pieces that add so much to an interior! Of course, patinas cover a lot of territory…..from the blackened crevices of your silver to the weathered architectural pieces…..
